Sample 7 Night Kimberley Cruise Itinerary.

Itineraries may change subject to weather and tidal conditions.

Itineraries can be tailored for private group charters.

Day 1: Boarding

We start your Kimberley adventure with a 3-hour coach transfer from Broome to Cygnet Bay. Sit back and relax as you learn about the surrounding country, culture and history from our experienced guide. Join a Pearl Farm tour of the remarkable Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, and have the opportunity to view the showroom onsite. Board the vessel at Cygnet Bay and enjoy the afternoon with sunset drinks on the bow as we steam into the evening across the racing tide.

Day 2: Myridi Bay to Collier Bay

Awake in a very secluded anchorage and begin your adventure with a low-tide fish, and exploring the multitude of creek systems and tributaries. Catch the rising tide into our first freshwater swim for an afternoon dip and relax. Depart on the tide further into the Archipleago.

Day 3: Collier Bay to Doubtful Bay

Enjoy the morning exploring a secret fishing creek, one of the most pristine and spectacular parts of the Kimberley coastline, trying your luck in a creek hidden in the mangroves, and exploring the rocky headlands and islands. A possible walk and swim in a very dramatic gorge. Followed by a scenic cruise out into the sunset and north towards Doubtful Bay.

Day 4: Redcone Creek and Montgomery Reef

Take in the beautiful scenery and bird life found along Redcone Creek or the Three Ways Creek system whilst trying your hand at catching some mud crabs for dinner.  There is a chance for a freshwater swim here before we continue cruising out to Montgomery Reef. Watch the phenomenon as the tides ebbs away and exposes the vast expanse of the reef. Truly memorable natural viewing! Enjoy your cooked mud crabs as the sunsets on your fourth evening as you cruise to anchor in another sheltered little hideaway in this spectacular place.

Day 5: Eagle Point Creeks

Get in some early morning Barra fishing before cruising out to Raft Point and continuing down towards Eagle Point to enjoy your fifth night anchored in this secluded area and dining on freshly caught Barra.

Day 6: Talbot Bay (Horizontal Falls)

Awake in the beautiful Talbot Bay and prepare to witness a unique phenomenon, the Horizontal Falls. Followed by a very informative and interesting cruise into Cyclone Creek, and look out for our local ‘pets’ on the way. Enjoy the serenity of the surrounding bay as the sunsets on your second last evening. Departing on the tide for the Buccaneer Archipelago.

Day 7: Yampi Sound and onward

Head out early for a try at a pelagic fish as we jump into the tenders to explore the Buccaneer Archipelago. Back onboard for a lunch cruise out into the islands. Maybe a low-tie expedition looking for the Black Lipped Oyster, then cruise out into Yampi for the last time. Tide dependant, we will aim to find a lovely beach to enjoy an oyster or two and a drink as the sun sets on our final day. Departing on the evening tide, we continue on into King Sound.

Day 8: Cygnet Bay

Awake as we lift anchor, and enjoy a breakfast cruise into Cygnet Bay. Coffee and stories on the bow as the tenders prepare to take you ashore. Once ashore, our airconditioned bus awaits for the ride back to Broome.
